The alchemy of stillstand and activity mixed media painting<\/h2>\n

Which of these two states do you cope with better - standstill or activity? Or do you master them both? When you are \"lazy\" and not productive or things don't get done as quickly as you would like - is this a problem for you? And how easy is it for you to get things done and tackle what needs to be done?<\/p>\n

\"The alchemy of standstill and activity\" is an image from my Alchemy series<\/a>in which I unite opposites and different states in one painting.<\/p>\n

This image helps you to harmonize the states of rest \/ receiving and activity \/ coming into action and to be able to gain something from both - without judging yourself if you are active \"too much\" or \"too little\". The animals Aries and Bison represent precisely these two aspects, which only appear to be in opposition to each other. Because every project you tackle needs both phases in equal measure: Implementation and relaxation!<\/p>\n

The painting is done in many layers with acrylics and oils.<\/p>\n
