The alchemy of feminine and masculine oil painting<\/h2>\n

Tired of stereotypes about what is \"typically\" female and male - and what is not? On an energetic level (i.e. regardless of biological gender), it is often said that everyone has female and male parts within them. Everything that has more to do with action and assertiveness is seen as masculine and everything that has more to do with intuition and empathy is seen as feminine.<\/p>\n

But what if you can choose at any moment whether you want to be more active in your life - or whether it's time to relax and wait and see? Unite all the parts of yourself, beyond a stamp of what others consider to be right for you.<\/p>\n

\"The alchemy of female and male\" is an image from my Alchemy series<\/a>in which I combine opposites and different states in one picture. For this picture, I chose a male and a female peacock because they are such a good example of animal species in which the males are somewhat more striking than the females. However, I think that both have a special elegance in their own way and that the \"more colorful\" one doesn't have to be the more beautiful one - both have their own special features and complement each other wonderfully.<\/p>\n

The painting is done in many layers with collage, structure paste, acrylics and oils.<\/p>\n
