The Indian goddess Saraswati in a modern style on canvas (mixed media or as an art print)<\/h2>\n

The Indian goddess Saraswati stands for wisdom, creativity and inspiration, as well as for music, art and the free development of the spirit. Her power animal, the swan, helps her to distinguish the essential from the non-essential. It reminds you to trust your intuition even more and to follow your inner voice. Saraswati also stands for communication and that you can express yourself the way you really want to. Find the right words to share your inner self with the world.<\/p>\n

The painting is part of my Mythology series<\/a>in which I paint figures from ancient legends and myths in a modern setting. I do this deliberately because I want to remind you that there are superpowers in all of us and that the heroes, gods etc. are only a symbol of this. The old legends still live on - even in you! But we can interpret them in a modern way.<\/p>\n

I achieved the reference to our world in this painting by using neon colors that shimmer out of the lower layers - because they give the picture a modern look.<\/p>\n

This painting was created in several layers with spray paints, acrylic and oil paints. As the round shape of the picture cannot be printed, this motif is currently only available once - only in the original (size of the canvas: diameter of 40cm)<\/p>\n
