Shift your perspective (mixed media oil painting)<\/h2>\n

Everything is just a matter of perspective: When you look at something from a completely different perspective, your entire reality can change.<\/span><\/p>\n

The best example: our memories of the past are constantly shifting \u2014 depending on the identity you\u2019re viewing them from. From a different version of yourself, you tell your life story in a new way, and you even remember different things than you did a few years ago.<\/span><\/p>\n

But here\u2019s the truth: you can change your perspective at any moment. It doesn\u2019t have to take years.<\/span><\/p>\n

This piece, \u201cPerspective\u201d from my Shift series, represents exactly that.I used the same reindeer as a reference \u2014 but mirrored it, turned it in the opposite direction, and inverted the colors so it became blue.<\/span><\/p>\n

Is it still the same reindeer? Yes.But in two completely different versions.And just like that, you get to choose which version of yourself you want to be.<\/span><\/p>\n

This painting is done in many layers with structure paste, acrylics, oils and golden medium.<\/p>\n
