Chaos can be your source of power to create something entirely new.

Goddess Pele

Goddess Pele's meaning: I am one with the cycle of nature

People love control—but life simply can’t be fully controlled. Realizing and accepting this doesn’t have to be a weakness; it can become your greatest source of strength.

The Hawaiian goddess Pele represents both destruction and renewal, as she is closely connected to volcanoes and the natural world. She also holds a healing aspect that emerges when you welcome the chaos that sometimes appears in your life. Use it to shape something creative, constructive, and inspiring.

Perhaps you’ve recently experienced many changes or unexpected events and are feeling a bit drained? Pele inspires you to stop seeing these things as obstacles and start embracing them as part of your life.

Acknowledge that certain cycles repeat themselves in nature—and in your life. But you don’t have to get stuck in them; instead, you can draw strength from each unique phase.

Don’t be afraid of the raw emotions that may surface. They are part of the human experience. Sometimes, the inner cauldron boils over: maybe you’re angry or upset about something.

But what if, in those moments, you didn’t have to be afraid, pity yourself, or feel like a victim of your circumstances? What if you could simply witness what’s happening and become a quiet observer of your inner states? Any situation can shift more easily when you allow the chaos within you—without getting swept away by it. When you know that this too shall pass, you become more calm and can even draw inspiration from it.

If you currently feel stuck in a situation: first, allow yourself to reconnect with how you feel—and ask yourself what would truly bring you joy right now.
