The alchemy of tame and wild: from survival to play

Has it been a survival strategy for you in the past to adapt, avoid conflict, or primarily fulfill the needs of others?

Maybe right now, your true self wants to emerge. But who are you really? What would bring you joy? This card invites you to reflect for yourself: In which areas are you willing to compromise and are you harmony-seeking, and in which areas would you like to be more independent, walk your own path, and discover even more who you really are—whether others like it or not?

This can be done playfully, without overthinking. Try it out by experimenting with many different things that would bring you joy right now. Through play, lightness, and humor, you’ll discover who you are and what the new version of you could be, walking confidently and freely through the world.

By the way, cats were the inspiration for this theme, as they embody everything: they can be cuddly and harmony-seeking with us (if they want to) and, at other times, their inner wild side emerges when they spot a mouse. A cat doesn’t need to lie to its environment or abandon itself just to make others happy. Because it knows: It will always be loved, no matter what it does or doesn’t do.

This card may therefore also remind you that you can show and live all sides of yourself. What if you first unconditionally accept yourself as you are—and your environment naturally aligns with your new self-image, without you having to earn their love or control anything?
