The Celtic goddess Rhiannon in a modern style on canvas (mixed media or as an art print)

The goddess Rhiannon stands for freedom, inner wisdom and supernatural abilities, as she can walk between the worlds. She is often traditionally depicted with horses, as she is also the goddess of horses.

However, I wanted to emphasize the aspect of hearing and expressing one's own voice, which Rhiannon also stands for. For this meaning, Rhiannon is also depicted with a nightingale, which I also chose for this picture.

The painting is part of my Mythology seriesin which I paint figures from ancient legends and myths in a modern setting. I do this deliberately because I want to remind you that there are superpowers in all of us and that the heroes, gods etc. are only a symbol of this. The old legends still live on - even in you! But we can interpret them in a modern way.

In modern times, the goddess Rhiannon can be a symbol of finding and expressing your own inner voice and speaking your truth. She also wants to remind you to listen to your dreams and connect well with your own wisdom.

This painting was created in several layers using spray paints, acrylic and oil paints. It has a "3D effect" with the gold accents reflecting in the light. As the round shape of the picture cannot be printed, this motif is currently only available once - only in the original (size of the canvas: diameter of 40cm)
