The alchemy of habit and freedom (mixed media oil painting)

Habit and freedom are two states that can oppose each other.

Where have you built a golden cage for yourself? Through habits, relationships or thought patterns? Something that may once have done you good, but no longer does. A situation that you are afraid to leave because the unknown awaits behind it.

This painting wants to remind you that you are free to do anything. All it takes for you to live your freedom is to look at which habits are currently holding you captive and which ones you can perhaps let go of. The canary in the indicated cage, the door of which has long been open, reminds you that all you have to do is fly and then you can glide through the air as freely as a bird. Perhaps a new version of yourself is already waiting for you, ready to fly to freedom.
