Light and shadow cannot exist without each other. If you only ever want to see one side, you will block out the other, but that doesn't mean it's gone.
"The alchemy of light and shadow" is a painting from my Alchemy seriesin which I unite opposites and different states in one painting.
This painting supports you when you are going through a difficult time, so that you know that there will always be other times. If you are perhaps seeing more shadows in your life at the moment, realize that there will be light again. Because without light there is no shadow and without shadow there is no light. The panther helps you to have the courage to face your own personal shadows.
This painting is done in many layers with acrylics and oils.
