So often we want to get everything right—so we end up doing nothing. Or we fear the consequences of our own decisions. But in doing so, we forget that in every life situation we are always responsible for ourselves.
Yes, you can blame circumstances or other people. But in truth, that’s an illusion that distracts from your real power: only you can make your decisions. Even when, from the outside, it looks like you don’t have many options: you always have the choice of how you want to see things in your life. And even if you let others decide for you or refuse to decide at all: that too is a decision.
