The information or materials I need from you will vary depending on the job. For example: If I am to paint your bag, I will of course need the bag; if I am to paint your pet, I will need at least one good photo as a template. If the commission is for your business, I need some information about your brand.

For each type of commission, I have a form for you to fill out so I can gather the necessary information. If I need anything beyond that, I’ll reach out to you.

What generally always helps me are details about colors (which ones you would like to have or at least which ones you would NOT like to have) and if you particularly like a style of my previous pictures, an indication of the picture it should be based on. If the picture is for a particular occasion or is to be hung in a particular room, I would also be happy to receive details (if it is intended for a particular corner and is to be based on the furniture or colors in the room, please also include a photo of it).

For pet photos to be used as references, try to choose poses you want featured in the painting. The photo should be clear, high-resolution (a smartphone photo is usually sufficient), and the pet should be clearly visible. I will provide feedback if something isn’t suitable.
