The alchemy of inside and outside: your true paradise
Have you ever gotten upset about your circumstances or your so-called "outer world," or felt like you were at its mercy? If you are human, you can probably only answer this question with "yes"... However, there is another perspective that this card invites you to consider.
The alchemy of inside and outside reminds you that there is actually no separation between the inner and outer worlds, because your outer world is essentially just what you experience in your inner world. You give everything in your outer world your own individual meaning. It’s less about what exactly happens in your outer world – and more about what perspective you take on it.
Is your inner world a place of peace? Do you feel comfortable in your world and with yourself, and do you also give all the people you interact with a benevolent role in your personal game of life? Or do you occasionally feel fears and worries that govern you?
Most people make the mistake of drawing conclusions about their inner well-being based on what happens in their so-called outer world. For example, when something undesirable happens, they ask themselves, "What did I do wrong? Why does this always happen to me?" etc.
But what if you realized that your world works the other way around? You get to decide how you want to feel in your life and with the people in it, and eventually, this will be reflected in your surroundings. As you let go of the distinction between inside and outside (or “me” and “the others”), wonderful and rapid changes can occur. Because at that point, you no longer try to change or control people and circumstances, but focus only on where you actually have power: your perspective on life.
Realize that you have held the key to your happiness for a long time, namely when you are aware that you can choose in every moment: What is my reality? How do I want to move within it? And if you then also detach yourself from whether you get a direct reaction from the outside world to your new inner world, or if the „old game“ continues for a while, but you are still already your new self, then you are truly free.
