With “Selection”, I create a world that does without a lot of explanation.

Each image tells its own story, which is composed of coherent impressions of sight, touch, hearing, taste and smell. I deliberately do not share what those impressions exactly are and what the deeper meaning behind them is, so that every viewer is even more free to recognize their own meaning within it.

With this series, I deliberately start from a very simple premise: each time with a color palette that inspires me. On that basis, I create the respective world of the image. Through collage and transparent and covering areas in the image, I create multilayered layers that become fully visible only when the original work is viewed more closely.
