Your most valuable asset is not your material possessions, but your clear mind.
Goddess Athena's meaning: Wisdom is my superpower
Material things come and go, but what always remains is your consciousness. Where is your focus right now: on material things or what you want to achieve externally—or on yourself and your inner value system?
Do you define yourself by what you have or don’t have, or by your inner values?
How much time do you spend aligning your life with what truly matters to you? And how much time do you spend getting upset about things that feel like a burden or don’t really fit who you are?
Athena is the Greek goddess of wisdom, strategy (originally also in war), protection, and inner values. Her meaning in today’s world is to become truly clear about what matters to you, what lies close to your heart, and what, from your point of view, is worth standing up for.
Remove all apparent obstacles from your path by no longer standing in your own way and eliminating any habits and ways of thinking that are harmful to you.
Athena reminds you to act wisely and courageously and to rely on all the knowledge and wisdom you already carry within. The best strategy for your current life situation can only come from you. And you will discover it by following your inner compass, your intuition.
Yes, in some life situations it’s also about being adaptable and making new decisions. But Athena reminds you to stay true to your path. Your path is the one that feels right and aligned to you. A path that fits your inner values and your talents.
So if you’ve drawn this card, it may be a sign for you to take another look at what truly matters to you, which of your values you may not be living fully right now—and how you could change that.
