"The Queen" is no. 4 of 4 archetype supplementary works to my Alchemy seriesin which I combine opposites and different states in a single image. While alchemy is generally about changing inner states and gaining a new perspective on things, the 4 archetypes describe the way you can move through your life.
The queen is accompanied by a lioness, who not only stands for the majestic in you, but also for courage and inner strength. A lioness is clear and knows exactly what she wants. This can also symbolize your own inner strength.
The painting is done in many layers with collage, spray paint, acrylics and oils.
